The Diploma of the civil engineering Is the main branch here in the pioneer polytechnic college of punjab started in the year of 1963 at moga district .The main aim of the civil engineering branch is to prepare middle level professionals with optimum confidence and knowledge. In this course students learnt about planning, designing , drafting , surveying , estimating , costing, material testing and construction.Diploma certificate holder in civil engineering can find employment in various government and private designing and construction industries including railways, bridges, industrial structures, reasearch organisation ,water supply and sanitation coorporation and many other construction projects. alumni have been successfully selected as junior engineer in various govt. Departments like irrigation, B&R, Municiple coorporation, Mandi board, panchayti raj, Punjab Pollution board, PUDA etc.This Diploma is running successfully with well qualIfied, experienced and hard working faculty.
