BRIEF OF ALL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES

(a)Post-Matric Punjab Scholarship for Scheduled Caste :-

• The student must belong to the scheduled caste community.
• The annual family income of the student must not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.

(b)Post-Matric Scholarship for Minority Community :-

• The student must belong to a minority community such as Sikhs, Buddhists Christians, Parsis, Jains, and Muslims.
• The annual family income of the student must not exceed Rs 2 lakh.
• The student must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the last exam written by them.

(c)Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme :-

• Punjab state government has launched “Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme “, a new initiative to provide cheaper and quality education to govt. institutes offering diploma courses. Punjab CM Scholarship Scheme will help bright students from financially poor backgrounds, particularly those belonging to the general category and all other categories. Under the scheme, the state government would also provide 100% tuition fee waiver for those getting 90% and above marks in the qualifying examination. Besides this, fee concession of tuition fee is also given to those students who have scored 60% marks and above in qualifying examination during the whole course.
